Ballgown Virtual Photoshoot
Ever wanted to have your personal photographer capture you at special events? You can book a ballgown virtual photoshoot with me! Here’s how one such ballgown virtual photoshoot went.
Recently, I’ve teamed up with model Anna Alexis Posch for a series of virtual photoshoot sessions in various outfits and locations. And each one was different and unique.
Those are the best creative collaborations. Trying out new things, being open to sudden bursts of inspiration and changing it as you go along.
Creativity is a flow process.

Anna was attending a gala in the German city of Wiesbaden at one of the most stunning locations in town, the local castle and grounds.
The white pillar walks and the historic fountain on the neatly manicured lawns leading up to the main building of the City Palace were the perfect backdrop.
And since they were all in one place, we managed to shoot three locations in 10 minutes.
These photos are the results.
Would you have guessed they were taken with the model’s phone.
And would you have guessed that I wasn’t even there?
I am still so impressed by how it’s possible to do virtual photoshoots like that.

Anyway, I directed her on different poses, gave her prompts to dance and run around and then in the editing process, decided to layer all these movements into clone sequences.
It turned out super fun and since I was super fast with the inspiration and edit, Anna was able to show around our co-created work and gain lots of impressed reactions.
Validation like that certainly helps fuel the creative process too. 😉
